AquaCgreen Publishing has evolved over three years with the main purpose of creating and designing the world’s first waterproof, Eco-friendly, luxury resort magazine, Aquacabanamag.

Having an Eco-friendly magazine that’s both waterproof and fade resistant would allow guests at major resorts to enjoy reading a travel, leisure, fashion and lifestyle magazine while at the pool or waterside. This had not previously been done, and with great determination--and facing some adversity--we did come up with a product.

Because the first products were made from petroleum-based synthetic substrates, they were, in fact, waterproof, but were very difficult, time consuming and expensive to produce, and, in the end, were not very Eco-friendly. So, the research and trial-and-error went on, resulting in a great innovation using paper created primarily from a mining waste product, lime stone powder. Used at certain thicknesses with certain coatings, and mixtures, this substrate was not only completely eco-friendly, saving thousands of trees, but was also recyclable, used less energy and water, and produced significantly less emissions than traditional or even recyclable paper.

This major revelation produced a beautiful earth-friendly magazine, and also encouraged us to now offer our publishing services using this green tree free technology to as many people as possible--and help save the environment and our rain forests, one tree at a time. Anyone printing or publishing magazines, corporate documents, annual reports, labels, menus, and bags could now turn those needs and dollars into helping to save the planet, as well as demonstrating their willingness and efforts to be a part of the solution.
