Current Issue C-Stone tree free Paper can be used as a substitute for virgin or recycled paper. It is also , impervious to water and fade resistant, it can be very useful for outdoor applications, and is photodegradable after a period of about one year but using certain eco-friendly coatings can slow down that process!

C-Stone Paper is made from 80% calcium carbonate (CaCOз), with a small quantity (20%) of non-toxic resin (HDPE - high density polyethylene). The calcium carbonate comes from limestone collected as waste material from existing quarries in the building and construction industry. It is ground down to a fine powder, like chalk, and the HDPE acts as a binder for the calcium carbonate. Together, these materials create a substrate that is both water and tear resistant!

C-Stone is made with a clean production process that does not utilize water or emit toxic air, and is chlorine free, acid free, and safe for the environment. C-stone paper can be recycled to make new C-Stone Paper or other plastic products, such as lumber, furniture, or receptacle bins. C-Stone Paper can also be recycled in the building and construction, waste treatment, steel manufacturing, farming, and glass making industries.

C-Stone Paper is available in various thicknesses, ranging from solid enough to make outdoor and indoor signs and banners to the thinnest traditional paper magazine stock. It can readily be made into magazines, books, annual reports, corporate branding material, marketing materials, menus, trail maps and city guides, bags, packaging, and much more.

Some of the processes to publish and print on this type of paper can require special care and knowledge, and that’s where AquaCgreen Publishing can help you with your options, and assist you in making the right choices.
